1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PMI Ninja website and services, operated by Hint Holdings LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

PMI Ninja provides a Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) removal service. On your behalf and with your written authorization, we contact your mortgage lender or servicer to manage the PMI removal process, including requesting reappraisals or Broker Price Opinions (BPOs) as applicable.

Our service is not a guarantee of PMI removal. The outcome depends on factors including your current home value, loan-to-value ratio, payment history, and your lender's policies.

3. Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be the legal owner or co-owner of the property in question
  • Be current on your mortgage payments
  • Have an active PMI policy on a conventional mortgage
  • Provide accurate and truthful information

4. Authorization

As part of our service, you will sign an electronic authorization permitting PMI Ninja (Hint Holdings LLC) to contact your mortgage lender or servicer on your behalf. This authorization is limited to actions related to the removal or cancellation of your PMI. You may revoke this authorization at any time by contacting us at support@pmininja.com.

5. Identity Verification

To process your PMI removal request, we must be able to confirm your identity to your mortgage lender or servicer. Servicers typically require identifying details — such as your date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number — before they will release loan information or act on a cancellation request.

You authorize us to verify your identity and to obtain identity information about you — including your date of birth, current and prior address, and Social Security or taxpayer identification number, in whole or in part — directly or through third-party identity-verification services, and you instruct those services to disclose that information to us for this purpose. The information we use to verify you may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, Social Security or taxpayer identification number, and government-issued identification.

We may carry out this verification at enrollment or at any later time we reasonably consider necessary (for example, if a servicer rejects an initial authentication). In connection with these inquiries, your information may be disclosed to and verified against identity-verification, fraud-prevention, and consumer-reporting sources, and those sources may respond to our inquiry. This is an identity-verification check only, is not an application for credit, and should not affect your credit score.

You also authorize your telephone or wireless carrier to use and disclose information about your account and device — such as your name, address, date of birth, and Social Security or taxpayer identification number — to us or our identity-verification provider, for so long as you have an account with us, solely to help verify your identity and prevent fraud.

By providing this information, or authorizing us to obtain it, you confirm that it is accurate and authentic and relates to you, and you agree to keep us updated if it changes. You may withdraw this authorization by closing your account or by contacting us at support@pmininja.com, except that we may retain and continue to process information where reasonably necessary to complete services already in progress or to comply with applicable law.

6. Fees and Payment

The fees, billing schedule, payment trigger, and refund terms for our service are set out in the Engagement Agreement that you review and accept at enrollment. The specific amount and cadence applicable to your account are displayed at enrollment and on every receipt. Payment information is collected during enrollment and processed securely through Stripe in accordance with the Engagement Agreement; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Engagement Agreement on fees, billing, or refunds, the Engagement Agreement controls.

7. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete mortgage and property information
  • Upload authentic mortgage statements and documents
  • Respond to requests for additional information in a timely manner
  • Not interfere with the PMI removal process once initiated
  • Keep your account credentials secure

8. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use passwordless authentication via email magic links. You must ensure that the email address associated with your account is secure and accessible only by you. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, text, graphics, and other materials on the PMI Ninja website are the property of Hint Holdings LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

  • PMI Ninja is not a lender, mortgage broker, or financial advisor. We do not provide mortgage loans, financial advice, or investment recommendations.
  • We do not guarantee that your PMI will be removed. Outcomes depend on your lender's appraisal, your property's current market value, and applicable regulations.
  • Savings estimates and calculations shown on our website are approximations based on the information you provide. Actual savings may vary.
  • Our service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hint Holdings LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use our service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hint Holdings LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our service, your violation of these Terms, or your provision of inaccurate information.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Email and Marketing Communications

When you create an account or provide your email address, you agree that we may send you two kinds of email. Service messages — sign-in links, receipts, identity and authorization requests, and updates about your account or an active case — are part of the service and are sent regardless of your marketing preferences while your account or case is active.

Optional messages — onboarding reminders, educational tips, product news, and promotional offers — are sent on an opt-out basis. You can stop them at any time, without affecting your account, by using the unsubscribe link in any such email, by adjusting your choices at your email preferences, or by emailing support@pmininja.com. We honor opt-out requests promptly.

Our commercial email complies with the CAN-SPAM Act: every message identifies us as the sender, includes a valid physical mailing address, and provides a working way to opt out. We do not sell or rent your email address.
